What has now become an Annual event, with added Ladies, was again a tremendous success. A grand total of 23 Seniors and 11 Ladies "tip toed" onto the Woods course (with some trepidation due to the icy conditions), the Club allowing us to organise a two tee start. It was agreed that due to these conditions we would limit the event to a 9 hole competition.

There were 2 winning teams, both with 51 points, Steve Atkins, Richard Kieffer, Pete Stephenson, Lyndon Hallett and Nick Townend, Colin Thornton, Chris Watchorn, Tony Slipper
Nearest the pins for the men on the 4th and 11th were Chris Watchorn and Andy Davidge respectively. Nearest the pins for the ladies on the 4th and 11th were Ailsa Lines and Yvonne Walker respectively.
The "Best Dressed" Lady was Jacqui Francis, the Best Dressed man was Bob Privett.

The real winners were the Captain's Charities as we raised £347 in total from the raffle and donations, to be shared equally between the respective charities.
An additional £70 was raised for St Barnabas from an auction for 2 cakes and a Pudsey bear.
Thanks to Joy Wood, Ken Smith Nikki and our old favourite Phil Turrell for all his organisation for the day.

A very rewarding and uplifting day so thanks to ALL concerned
