Mike, pauses before heading due west out into the Atlantic and on to New York (are you sure...ed?)

Mike's Version
Photo is obviously 1st day at start. Yesterday wasn't too bad. Afternoon was tough. Today was a real test.started with short ferry ride to be greater by the 1st of scull day of hills. Grateful for dry weather and a following wind across dartmoor. Car dry lunch in Plymouth set us up for the tough. CLimbs on dartmoor. A most enjoyable experience so far with some fabulous scenery. We are on mortenhampstead tonight. A 72 mile ride tomorrow to Glastonbury

16 May -After 4 days will be leaving Monmouth today. Photo at Severn bridge. Interesting ride over to Wales. Just about surviving but legs starting to rebel. Tough hills every day together with rain all day on Tuesday. Sod's law we had 3 punctures between us in the pouring rain. Great adventure though. Cheers for now Mike
